The old bathroom is totally gone

Here we are closed up for the night...come back tomorrow (or maybe later today) to see the new doors installed!

We have progress! The new bathroom is up and running and the old bathroom is gone!

my battery died so you will have to wait to see the door in place...check back tomorrow for that.

sorry...these are a little out of order but trust me when i say this whole process is exhausting and stressful so bear with me please

I wish I could say great news but unfortunately the inspector did not show up on Friday...just a little more STRESS here.

The good news is this first picture is the final coat on the floor that has been refinished and looks like new. I can't wait to do the rest of the floors now!

Getting ready to repair the spot where there was an electric plug in the floor and sand it. one of these days i will remember to put these in the opposite order.
Can't wait for it to be finished...just a few more days.

I apologize for not keeping you posted but there hasn't been anything to post. We have finally been given the go ahead to proceed. Can I tell you the waiting was way too much stress!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will call for an inspection tomorrow and with the other issue behind us they still have to make sure everything else meets the standard.

In the meantime the guest bathroom has been tiled and a first coat of paint almost completed. Grouting the tile is next and then we can paint the area above the tile that we could not reach today. Hopefully it will be done and usable in the next few days.

Sorry folks, nothing new but we are hoping for good news tomorrow.

We do have tile in the guest bathroom and it should be done tomorrow and grout on Wednesday.
